If it really takes 2000/2000 boosts to do level 5 in Jupiter and the FT gives me 100 total boosts and the PT gives me 53, I only need 35 more powerful buildings to be able to complete level 5. Lets say 20 will do it. That's 20 events. Sounds like maybe a year and a half to me. Prior to Battlegrounds, our guild focused on Guild Expedition and accumulated some nice gold trophies., but the crowns seem so minimal compared to BG. We got a gold trophy last week which gained us 18980 crowns vs the 273,500 crowns we could receive. from Battlegrounds. In the end, I think it depends on player for which tournament is preferred.Therefore if i enjoyed a challenge, i would wait to do it till i had plenty of city defense buildings, build them, do level 5, then revert my city to where it produces the most. Maybe the temporary building makes up for the lost city space but really how many fp producing buildings will be left after making room for all that defense.

It is completely pointless in every other inch of game code. Once you get to the top of PVP arena you always fight one NPC worth more points than the other two human players. You could fight Ebony if you had a city optimized for success in combat., I did a complete test round of GE. I did fight maybe the first 2 encounters on level 5, but then I had to turn to negotiating instead. The enemy defending army bonuses are impossible high, no way anybody could ever get a defense bonus high enough to beat 2569%/2569% in SAJM (even in lower ages the enemy army bonuses gets ridiculously …, the cost to unlock difficulty levels as it is now - all or no players - is way too expensive! I made a quick calculation for my guild on live server with 80 players and currently it would cost us about 6000 goods (1200 each for each good) for both difficulties and that just 1 week!
